Chungnam Office of Education Commends Excellent Companies in SME Workforce Training

The Chungnam Office of Education held a plaque awarding ceremony for "Dream Fulfillment Angel Enterprises" and a certificate presentation ceremony for "Outstanding Enterprises in SME Human Resource Development" in Cheonan on the 17th, together with the Daejeon Regional Employment and Labor Office. On this day, ‘Dream Fulfillment’ was held at 8 companies in the province, including Root Co., Ltd. (Nonsan), Hongil Industry Co., Ltd. (Seosan), AT Engineering Co., Ltd. (Asan), YMC Co., Ltd. (Asan), Dongwoo HST Co., Ltd. (Asan), Miso Electric Co., Ltd. (Asan), FNS Tech Co., Ltd. (Cheonan), and Gunil Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Cheonan). Plaques designating them as "Angel Companies" were awarded, and 20 companies, including Micro Contact Solution Co., Ltd., Baekje Country Club, Samsung Pharm Co., Ltd., and Kyungdeok Industry Co., Ltd., were given commendations as "Excellent Companies for SME Human Resource Development." The ‘Dream Fulfillment Angel Companies’ were finally selected after receiving recommendations for companies that are active in hiring vocational high school students and have good working environments, and verifying the absence of industrial accidents, wage arrears, and unfair labor practices. With this selection, the total number of ‘Dream Fulfillment Angel Companies’ in the province has increased to 78. The ‘Excellent SME Human Resource Development Companies’ were awarded for the first time to companies that participated in the SME Specialized High School Human Resource Development Project and achieved high performance in customized employment classes and SME-linked project activities. After the event, Superintendent Kim Ji-cheol, officials from the Cheonan Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, school principals, and company representatives held a meeting to discuss measures for fostering technical personnel and ensuring the safe operation of on-the-job training for students. Superintendent Kim Ji-cheol said, “Let us continue to do our utmost together to foster technical talent capable of leading the changing future industrial society and growing as the masters of their own lives.”
