Hongil Industry Co., Ltd. (CEO Roh Seung-yong), a specialized manufacturer of household, industrial, and agricultural hoses, obtained KS certification (KS M 3813) for low-pressure polyvinyl chloride hoses for liquefied petroleum gas from the Korea Testing & Research Institute last January.
Established in 2006, Hongil Industry produces dozens of various types of hoses, including household hoses, braided pressure-resistant hoses, oxygen hoses, high-pressure water discharge hoses, spring hoses, anti-static copper wire spiral hoses, and polyurethane tubes, in Seosan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, and sells them in both domestic and overseas markets. On Trade Day in 2021, the company also received the 3 million dollar Export Tower award.
Hongil Industry has recently been known to market LPG hoses.
Meanwhile, with Hongil Industry's acquisition of KS certification this time, the number of domestic LPG hose KS-certified companies has increased to three, including Yasung Co., Ltd. and Intech Chemical Co., Ltd. Hwayoung Sangsa, which had long produced LPG and city gas hoses, returned its KS certification in June last year.
